Hi,
I have never used Engintron (looks interesting) so I cannot say yes/no for that.
But using a reverse proxy like Nginx has a huge benifit. I have done some testing by optimizing each process of nginx to get all the juice out of it, and it was able to handle a ton of requests per second.
I have used VestaCP that has a good apache+nginx config (I recommend this)

Here's the intresting part:
(For the customer/delivery app)
Foodomaa is a PWA application, there are only 2 css and about 2-3 javascript files over 100kb and about 20 javascript files. Foodomaa implements very aggressive cache mechanism so once the app is loaded, the files (html, css, js, images) are never called from the server. (Because service worker caches it)
So here's the catch, if you just register for a Free verify of Cloudflare, you get a lot of benifit because CDN will cache all the resources and then nothing will touch your server (unless you update the application)

The best combination I see is use CDN + cPanel that runs on Apache+Nginx+MariaDB(or MySQL)
Also, php7.4 seems to be fully supported by Foodomaa now from v 2.8.1 (this too gives a good boost) - make sure OPcache is enabled.
