Duplication in Order ID (Delivery Boy App)

last 6 digits of the Order ID only is displaying in delivery boy app and it is repeating many times.
Our delivery boys used to keep manual reports for their reference and they find same order ID many times in same month.

Rahul looks like a rare exception that the last digits of the orders are the same. (But the full order id is definitely different right?)
How many orders do you have in total?

Saurabh yes the full order ID is different, but since only last digits are available in delivery boy App, they will get confused with same order ID. I have completed only 422 orders, is there any way to avoid this duplication?

Saurabh No, It happed before also, but I just ignored at that time.

Rahul hmm weird, will try to figure out by looking at the code tomorrow.

I hope you have not made any changes in the OrderController.php file?

Saurabh I reviewed the code and hashid for every number will be unique that too encoded it seems there is some modification in ordercontroller

Saurabh No changes related to Order ID.
Full order ID is unique, only the last 6 digits are getting !

Rahul can you please login to your PhpMyAdmin and goto the orders table and search for that uniqueorder_id and get the corresponding id for both the orders (id would be in numerical form, first column on the orders table)

It would help us in debugging this issue.

(In the mean time I will try to generate a hundred thousand hash ids and check if there are any duplications)
