Anyone, please explain how the wallet works?
Wallet functionality on Foodomaa is used for different purposes:
When a customer pays for their order via any Online Payment Gateways available on Foodomaa, and then the customer requests for a Refund of the order, or due to some issue with the order processing or operational issue, the Admin/Store Owner needs to cancel the order, then the Paid amount by the customer is sent to the customer's wallet.
Admin can manually Add/Subtract the amount from the customer's wallet using the Admin Dashboard. (Admin Dashboard > Users > All Users > View > Wallet Balance)
Wallets are also used for storing the Delivery Guy's commission and Tips for the Delivery Guys.
Mani hey many what if someone want the money on their bank account? how does i goes to the bank account?
Customer placed an order claiming that he will pay in cash, cancel the order and generate a wallet? How can I limit this?
Magrani Only works when paying online. If costumer pays COD and cancel, nothing will be added to wallet.
I just tested and added, it was a cash payment, canceled the payment and generated a wallet, in the next order I used a coupon and it enabled me to use wallet to pay the. difference. Is there any way I can restrict this?
Ancilla you will have to process it manually and deduct the same amount from their Foodomaa wallet.
Saurabh
how do I deduct it from their wallet? is it possible to decativate the whole wallet for the platform?
after asking for a refund on stripe I seen this money in the costumer wallet. now I manually deducted the money from the costumer wallet... now its out the costumers account/wallet and gone. But where is the money now? because its not in the bank account from the costumer and i went to my stripe account and nothing has changed there since i all ready manually asked a refund om stripe in the beginning. where is the money now so i can send it to the bankaccount of my costumer?
I'm thinking of a way for customers to transfer wallet amounts between themselves like deduct 20 and give to another customer who may be a friend or so. so many use cases let me know if this thread finds it useful.
