Hey Guys,

I am very glad to announce and give you a little overview of a new feature we have been working on tirelessly.

Finally, the most-awaited feature is now here with the upcoming update of Foodomaa v3.4. And yes, it’s that feature that has been requested by almost all of the community members at some point in time.

We understand how important it is for your business but we wanted to make sure we efficiently utilize the opportunity to make something much more powerful than just a simple feature.

Well yes @alabtechnosoft, you guessed it right! It’s the Official Delivery Partner Application, but that’s not it. We have made the application so much more powerful than it seems to be at a first glance. Keep reading!

With the powerful integration of v3.4 and the Official Delivery Application, you can now see the current location of your delivery guys and what they are working on right from your dashboard.

These are the features that’ll be available with the delivery application.

Non-Stop Push Notifications
Native Push Notifications on order arrival or assigning orders manually.
The sound will not be interrupted even if you receive other app notifications on your device.

Live Location Tracking
Real-time location of your delivery guys with GPS at no extra cost.

Eagle-View for Business Owners

  • Interactive Map Interface on Admin Dashboard to get all delivery partners’ live location with no extra cost for using Map.
  • Colorized markers to determine different statuses for different delivery guys.
  • Live data of current orders, cash in hand, today completed deliveries.
  • Call your delivery guy directly from eagle-view.
  • Compatible with Zones and Permission Management System.
  • Map on Single Order Page
  • Map to track Restaurant, Customer’s and Delivery Guy’s Live Location.

    Kudos to Manish from the Android team for seamless integration of Push Notification and Live GPS tracking.
    By far, this is the most advanced feature on Foodomaa. Very excited to see this go live.

    We have already provided beta for the Delivery Application and the Eagle View to two of our customers and the feedback from them has been overwhelming 🔥

    Just a few more improvements are pending for v3.4 and then we will be ready to roll out the update.

        Trust me, Foodomaa is really getting more advanced and now it is like 🔥.
        At one moment, I was like to shift from foodomaa to other application. If I do that, I will definitely regret.

        bhojmandu I am sorry I am unable to understand your question...

            bhojmandu direction api has not been integrated yet. Cost of direction APIs are too high for anyone to start using. So we simply donot want to spend time integrating something that majority will not be using.

            80% of the Foodomaa customer disables the whole order tracking map itself to save on the Map API cost.

                Saurabh is that this rider map view will be using mailbox or how?

                  KalMendes yes, actually it would be better if we create a different icon marker for all stores also. So that the admin/staff will get an idea of the delivery guys near to the stores too.

                    Will the driver tracking in eagle view and the customer order page increase google Maps billing?.

                      honey We're using Openstreetmaps for Admin Eagle View which is totally free to use. However, On the customer side, it has some chances of increasing your billing.

                              honey There's already an option available to disable it. Settings -> Google Maps -> Map on Order Tracking Page option
