I have purchased Call & Order module. I have tried it and have an issue with it: PHONE NUMBER
If I add a guest order, I have to add Guest's Phone number and Address. Now, what if this guest try to register on my app? He will get an error that this phone numer is already used.
So can we make changes to it so guest client is not saved to users list, or his phone number is not saved so client doesn't face any issuw while signing up for app.
Can we also have another option to add order manually where we just put total amount, address and phone number and order is added without adding all the items to cart first.

josan420 you need to enable OTP Login system from Admin > Settings > Sms Settings

That's the only way. As OTP login doesn't require password.

Saurabh I think i was not clear about the issue... sorry for that. My english not so good.
Let me explain again: If I add a guest order, a guest user is saved.

So what if in future this this user create an account on my app? He has to input his phone number and this will result in an error because phone number is already used.

What i am doing now is, I add random details about user but I use correct address and phone number (Because delivery guy need these) and after the order is delivered i myself change phone number and add a random number.
I hope i am clear what i am trying to explain. Sorry again for my English.

I will create a support ticket tomorrow about it because I can't share all the details here.

I understood your issue in the 1st post itself, but I am not sure if you understood the solution that I provided.

Here's the detailed explanation:

You do guest checkout and enter correct address, and name and phone number of customer ✅
You place the order on behalf of customer ✅
The customer later wants to use the app by themselves and will have issues in login according to you right?

No they won't have any issues if you Enable OTP login

Because on OTP login, they will just enter their phone number and an OTP will be sent to them, when they enter the OTP the will be loggedin. And the best part is they will also be able to view the past orders that you had placed for them.

On OTP login, the customer are asked for name and email if they are new, if the number is already registered, the OTP is directly sent. (In your case, the phone number will already be registered as you have already placed an order via Call and Order module)

Call and Order module will first create that customer with the name and phone you provided and then place the order.

@Saurabh I also second @josan420 concern, I am also facing the same issue. If we create a guest order, it also registers that number as a customer. Now after some days when that same customer decided to register himself in our app, he will never be able to register because his number is already registered in our app when we created guest order.

Saurabh thanks for clarification. I understood the flow now. Right now i am not using otp login. Because email login is primary login method in my country. Otp is very rare. But I will think about it. I have to see what are sms charges for my country and than decide.

If possible, in future, when priority features will be done consider some easy way for guest order.

As I am 100% sure that Foodomaa is the way forward and I have stopped looking for alternatives. Will purchase thermal printer in few days.

About Order schedule
If i can change time slot to 10 or 15 min i will purchase that too. If there is any way to do that please share.
