Error 500 on Dashboard and Application

Hi Team,

I need urgent help, I have checked with my hosting my other subdomains and main websites are working fine but my dashboard is showing error 500 | Server Error, and the Application is showing a white screen.

please help me out ASAP it's urgent.

Does this happen when you try to upgrade version? (after uploading and extracting zip file)

I met this issue, it requires me set php to 7.3 (I am currently running on 7.4), after changing to 7.3, it cannot be updated and get 500 error.

ali if you are getting 500 server error message that is not from the application, then we cannot help you, you need to contact your server admin or check Apache Error Logs on your cPanel for that.

And only if you were getting server error from the application end, we can help you. Have you already created ticket on helpdesk?

The best way to debug this kind of server error is by checking Apache Error logs on your cPanel.

Saurabh Yes sir I have created a ticket on the helpdesk and provided all my Cpanel credentials. The hosting providers are saying the issue is not from their end.

There is a white screen in the APPLICATION and 500 Error in the Admin Panel , I am not able to do anything!

ali Issue was with the .env file as you have put your Server IP address in the DB_HOST field.
The DB_HOST is generally 127.0.0.1 or localhost.
In your case, setting it to "localhost" worked.
(Issue resolved over ticket #15303)

I request everyone to not touch anything when your site is on Production unless you know for sure what you are doing is correct.

Thanks a lot for your help!! We do not do any changes and we were happy, but these hosting providers do unnecessary changes and hence we lose everything, Last time they unnecessarily brought changes and we lost huge data, today also, without any reason they did changes, and we went through hell, all of our customers went to our competitors and we lost huge data too

We are tired of this unprofessional hosting provider and we want to change it to something better, the only reason we don't change to other hosting is that we do not know about migration and we are having fear of losing our data!!

Once again, from bottom of my heart, I am thankful for your help!!
