  • Inbuilt Push Notification for Admin, Staff and Store Owner (Announcement #3)

As many of you have experienced issues with OneSignal in the past that sometimes they fail to respond to the APIs, and because of that the order placing process is affected. We cannot rely on a service that hampers the user experience.
So we have discontinued the OneSignal push notification for the Store Owner Dashboard.

Introducing inbuilt order push notifications for Admin, Staff members, and Store Owners.

This service do not require any setup and comes out of the box on (Free and Pro) version of the new platform
Admin and Store Owners can just log in to the dashboard and subscribe for the new order push notification.

We have also added a new permission for staff "Push Notification"
If this permission is added to any role of the staff members, they will also be able to subscribe to push notifications for new orders.

This push notification service can be subscribed to from multiple devices from the same account.
Example: Admin can log in to their PC and subscribe to push notifications. At the same time, they can also use their mobile device and subscribe to push notifications. Here, both PC and mobile will get notifications when a new order arrives.

Future implementations:
We will be adding push notifications for Admin for:

  • Pending Stores Approval
  • Payout requests
  • 1 Star Critical Review (yes this also can be done)

The possibilities are unlimited ๐Ÿ’ช

    Attention in Sunmi devices we recommend to use the android app itself. Android app has a socket notification connection and it will keep on ringing. (Free android apps for all current Foodomaa customers when they migrate to the new platform)

    The features posted above is for web version (admin/store dashboard)

      Is this only for new platform? Can we register (paid service) for our current site?

        JusanSG this is only for the new platform.
        It is not an external service. We have built this in the core of the new Foodomaa platform.

        we use this devices & we have android app also notifications & tune not working for print receipt need 3rd party app which also not good because take time for print when in kitchen busy than mostly restaurants owner donโ€™t want waste time you know what i means.

        Sunmi device doesn't sound too for nor print ; so I use iMin with works well for print but still no sound

          ventis you have Foodomaa Official Store Partner app?
          I guess the sound will work fine if the device has audio capabilities.

            RohanGaurat make sure your phone has disabled Battery Optimization for store app, and enable Auto Start if that option is disabled.

              Socket Push is a recommended service to guarantee Push Notifications (Socket Push comes with the new Platform for free)
