The current function on Foodomaa written to delete the Junk Data first saves the Data into the server's RAM and then deletes it. This works fine for 5000-10000 records, but since you have a ton of junk data, the server RAM is getting filled and hence it gets stuck for some time (until your server automatically recovers by clearing the RAM)
A quick temporary solution for this is:
- Login to your PHPMyAdmin Panel.
- Select your Database (where Foodomaa is installed)
- Click on SQL
- Paste the following and run it by clicking the "GO" button.
DELETE FROM alerts WHERE created_at < CURRENT_DATE - 7;
This will clear your junk files in 2-5 seconds.
I have noted this issue down and will be improving the junk delete function in the next release.
