add 3.5% for users paying using payment gateways (Creditcards)

Anyone: Do you know how to add like 3.5% for users paying using payment gateways (Creditcards) for those who doesn't use COD payment option. Because payment gateways are charging us too around 3.5%, So we need to pass the charges to the customers.

This actually depends on the payment gateway, you can customize it from your payment gateway dashboard so that the cost will go to the user

I just changed the restaurant charge to a service fee, eg 50c and that solved the problem

rezwiz but what about customers paying COD cash on delivery. they don't need too add more % additional fees, the credit card user only should be charged additional % that will cover the payment gateway 3.5% fees

rezwiz well, still not ideal. since we will have no additional running cost per cash on delivery (COD), compared to opting customers to pay via credit card which payment gateway charges 3.5%. Its a huge difference it profit margin.
Its like saying dont pay via COD because it wont cost us any money, Pay using your creditcard instead and we will shoulder the 3.5% charges by the payment gateways. We love paying 3.5% transaction fees for your convenience (even we lose profits). Get my point?

When i check with Razorpay customer care, they said that no such option to add additionally in the payment gateways.
Can you please elaborate more on this @Saurabh and how to do that?

honey Not possible on Foodomaa and not on the roadmap as well, at least as of now.

honey Its possible to charge users directly from Razorpay. Talk to them again and tell them you do not want to bear the fees for payment. You want your customers to pay the fees.
