I guess it's necessary to disable COD for Self-pickup as it only increases the operation cost of admin's business to collect money from the restaurant owner.

Will do that in the next release. Noted.

Saurabh yes indeed. But yes for now I think he can use that option as that will only affect that particular store only for which the online payment mode is selected

NikhilJain i dont think we have that option as of now but yes might be a good add on to prevent some fraud users.

NikhilJain Saurabh It would be awesome if we could remove COD for specific user. This will reduce fake orders. Like we can give COD to trusted customers only.
Note: I lost around 30K in 1 month due to fake COD orders. Removing COD also decreases order flow in small cities

I think The best solution for this is make it an optional button, so who doesnt need it can disable it.
Because not everyone got this problem and it just happen for some customer, and most of us need COD for selfpickup.
The important thing is make different commission for Delivery and Selfpickup.

i think a quick fix for COD would be in
admin area> Settings> Payment Gateways>
adding a COD section with dropdown selection, similar to when you payment details. so you can select 1 of 3 options (Delivery, pickup, both). this will allow some to restrict COD either to Delivery only or to pick up only or current which is to allow both.
