Purge Caching on Cloudfare

Hi, anyone using cloudfare on his foodoma website?

can i know what will happen if i click on purging caching? is that my web will have more speed or how?

anyone can explain?

Cloudflare is recommended for Foodomaa for speed and manage cache busting.

If you do purge cache, your older cached files will be invalidated on Cloudflare server and the new files will be fetched.

Purge Cache is to be done after you update Foodomaa or you changed any code static files like css or js or html.

mars It works perfectly fine. You must have some wrong config.

(Make sure you donot enable Restrict Key option when you add your website IP to the Google cloud console)

Even Foodomaa demo website (demo.foodomaa.com) is behind Cloudflare. And all works fine.

Saurabh without restricting IP, how do you prevent google map bandwidth quota thief? Google API cost alot, so we need to restrict and know who uses our API.

So there are two confusing terms,

IP restricted key.
Key Restrictions

Both are very different. You just need the 1st one to make sure one one uses your IP address protected key.

On Google cloud console, create a key and just add your IP address. Thats all.

mars NO, Foodomaa server doesn't have any access to anything on your server. It only validates the license code when you verify or install Foodomaa or its modules. (And even if anyone has your keys, it won't work because you will have IP and Http Restrictions that is recommended to have)

hello sir Saurabh what is best setting for this inside coudfare? browser cache ttl time, more longer or how?

surya90 Respect existing headers is fine because we have already set it in the htaccess file on the server.
You can also set it to the max if you wish to.
