[HOW TO]Restaurant Scheduling on OPEN/CLOSE

Hello all,

I will post series of user friendly hacks and enhancements to make our life easy. So this is first of the it.

When you make store ON/OFF the scheduling is switched OFF and you need to manually turn it ON again. This is quite irritating when owners take in ON/OFF action. So to automate this put the small code in RestaurantOwnerController.php and AminController.php in method disableRestaurant as shown below. After this you dont need to take any manual action.

        **if ($restaurant->is_active){
            $restaurant->is_schedulable = true;
        }**

So, is there any way to make it like this:

When turning off a store (or all stores), automatic scheduling will turn off (this is currently available)
When turning on a store (or all stores), [IF THAT TIME IS STILL IN OPENING TIME] then scheduling will automatically turn on too.

It will make life easier! Thank you!

If you are making this customisation, then,
If the store is currently open, and you close it, but because according to the schedule time if it is set to be opened at the Current Time, then it will be set back to Open within a minute when the cron job kicks in.

It's a bad idea to implement this IMO.

Saurabh the scheduling will turn ON only when restaurant is active (opened again). When its turned off schedulable is not true so restaurant will not turn ON. I have tested it and works fine.

Saurabh can use this cron job 0 19,23 * * * i use this for my requirements, store open at 19 and close at 23, if one store close manually at 20 the cron not work untile 23 when schedule closing time get closed....
