The idea for free CDN. Create an account on https://im.ge , upload your images over there and hotlink the images to your website.

Have servers in many continents ASIA, EMEA, Oceania, Africa, North America, South America and Europe. It will definitely improve the image loading time.

surya90 I don't have a solution right now but I agree with the other people. ✌️

You need a customization to have a "Lazy loading" or "See more button" on your main page so that only 20-30 restaurants are displayed when the page loads. And that if the user scrolls down other restaurants will load.

But I think Foodomaa will be forced to have this system in the future. Because there are also reviews, orders, addresses, transactions, notifications, etc. Which are displayed without limit and this will be a problem in a few years in the user experience when all this data has to be displayed at once.

You are just a pioneer of the problem that awaits us all later lol 😆

danoki in 2.8 we added lazy loading for past order list on the customer application. In 2.9 we added lazy loading for past delivery completed orders for the delivery application.

Will be adding when the time is correct. But for homepage, loading of 50-80 restaurants doesn't require lazy loading.

Saurabh sir, other then this frontend part, do we need to change too on backend changes?

surya90 The restaurant list react component is pretty complex itself, and the backend API is much more complex with many settings and configurations it needs to get data from. (for other lazyloading like lazy loading of order list was very easy on the backend, just with one-word change.)

For backend API, look into the getDeliveryRestaurants and getSelfPickupRestaurants function in RestaurantController.php file present in app/Http/Controllers

Our developer had done working on implementing lazy loading for restaurants at homepage and speed achieving was improve which get under 2 seconds and our developer had change some logic in ''restaurant controller" file.

But problem found is as we are choosing 'sort by nearby restaurants' setting, the 'not opening store also listing/appear in simultaneously in the line between the 'open store' (which we dont like it) and I found logic on original default code from you was all 'not opening yet store' will be listed and started to appear after all 'open stores' finish appear at after that last row,

Our developer said he only can do like that and can't do much.

Do u have better suggestion or idea to us inform our developer?

I would love share the codes to you if all is working fine.

surya90 all the logic for what store to show and what not to show and how to show is all present in the two functions getDeliveryRestaurants and getSelfpickupRestaurants. Your developer need to modfiy those to get it working.
There is no restriction from Foodomaa side on what can be listed. Just change the function according to your needs and it should work.

P.S make sure to turn off SuperCache module if you have it on your development environment.
