markhoffman You didn't mention that it was in the Restaurant Dashboard and not the Admin Dashboard.
By the way, it was the same since the beginning of Foodomaa i.e there was no description field in the Edit Addon Category page in RestaurantOwner Dashboard. Hence, it is not something that was related to the 3.0+ update. (If you check in the older version, we will find the same, the description will be missing)
We will add this in the next release 3.2.
