Push Notification Not Working

Hello, After I upgraded from version 3.1 to version 3.3 the Push Notifications for Delivery Guy stopped working. I've done everything, I've even deleted the FIrebase project and created another one. I've also checked the queue order limit (I put 9999) and Cash limit disabled (I put 0) but nothing works. can anybody help me?

MarianyFreitas if you delete the Firebase project and create a new one you will need to unregister all subscribers by going to phpmyadmin and deleting every entry from "push_tokens" table.

Then only when the delivery guy allows notification access, and the token gets saved in the database, they will start receiving notifications.

Saurabh I did this but it still didn't work.

I restored backup to version 3.1, push notifications working normally for delivery guy, upgraded again to version 3.3 and made a purchase without opening the Delivery Guy app on my cell phone, that is, it was still installed with the old system and the push notification has arrived. I opened the delivery guy's app on my cell phone and "Updating system" appeared. After that, no further notifications of new purchases arrived. This leads me to believe that the problem is with the Delivery Guy app. Any solution?

MarianyFreitas Carlos goto Admin > users > delivery guys > edit your delivery guy > Delivery guy details and check if the max order in queue and Cash on Hand is correct.

Example: if the delivery guy has already 3 orders and if the max order in queue is set to 3 or less, the delivery guy will not get any order or order notification.
Also, goto Admin > Transactions > Delivery Cash Collection and check the cash in hand for that delivery guy. If it's greater than what is set for max cash in hand limit, the notification will not arrive.

Hi, I am having same trouble but I do not get any push notifications at all, neither delivery guys nor customers orders updates. Also, I triyed sending a single push notification to a customer and did not work. I upgraded from 2.9.2 to 3.3.

Saurabh thank you, I checked all delivery guys and none of them have any limitation. But I am not getting any notification to customers orders update and notifications sent to customers from Promotions > Send push notifications, too.

Push Notifications are not working for any user. I am still figuring out certain things but I believe it could be a possible bug in version 3.3. Please do check and revert what you think about possibilities.

ShauryaSaxena I am not really sure what is wrong because the users who are having issues are not giving proper information. Just by saying "Push notification not working" we cannot help.

There are 20 Businesses that I am in direct contact with (All from India) and for them, the push notification is working fine (all are in v3.3)

Firebase config changed or a new firebase project added?
Are you not even able to send push notifications from the "Send Push Notifications" tab to your subscribers?

@Saurabh I understand. In my case, whenever I send a push notification through Foodomaa, there is no notification tone or we can't see anything in the notification bar of the phone too. Although, when we open the foodomaa app and go to the alert tab, we can see the notification there. Just highlighting silently. This is happening for all users. Feel free to be specific to understand this issue.

ShauryaSaxena let me know your CodeCanyon username (I will get your website domain from there) and will register to your Website and enable push notification.

Then you try sending the push notification to me and then we can check what's the issue.

Or a better way could be if you can send the following on support:

Cpanel url, username and password.
Admin url, username and password
I will check the DB (push_tokens) too and don't worry will not send any push notification for testing to your users.

(I will just send it to myself)

Please mention this post url in the ticket so that I personally get notified regarding the ticket.

Carlos by clicking on Allow on the notification prompt on homepage after a successful signup (only then a registered user becomes a customer and can be sent push notifications) (for all browsers on Android/PC)

Saurabh and what about thos customers who allow notifications before (in previous foodomaa versions). In my case, I am trying to send push notifications to myself and I am a registered user.
About Android app I am waiting for buying it when it will available in codecanyon, I have some credit there that want to use.

Carlos practically, even if you update Foodomaa from V1 to V3 the push notification will work if the user have already allowed push notification earlier and are registered subscribers.
The same has been working since two years.
This is not something new.

(On Android app, there is no need of any permission of the user to send push notifications)

Android app will not be available on CodeCanyon.
We are only selling it on our website.
