Sabry Foodomaa uses more than 30 3rd party packages and extensions, unless all the packages support php 8 and Laravel 8, we cannot.
We have already made perfomance improvements (and continuously improving) on Foodomaa.
And on a larger application like Foodomaa, how we structure the db, codes and all matters rather than just upgrading Laravel. I don't see any thing that would improve just by updating Laravel.
