From today we as an aggregator have to collect the GST from customer and pay the GST to the Govt.
For Cloud Kitchen GST registration not required
For Home Delivery GST registration not required
For Takeaway GST registration required if turnover cross 20Lakhs
For Restaurants GST registration required if turnover cross 20Lakhs
For Foodomaa:
- Restaurant GST Details no need.
- GST amount and GST rate no required to show in Restaurant Portal.
- GST amount only show to the admin for paying the TAX.
a. GST on food (mostly 5%, but in some cases it will be item wise.)
b. GST on Our Commission (18%)
c. GST on Delivery (18%)
- Item wise GST is required as cooked food have 5% GST, Cold Drinks have 28% GST and Ice Cream have 18% GST, as before restaurant is managing the GST and we are only paying GST on our commission but now WE have to manage the GST.
- For GST of 5% like cooked food we have to pay the GST directly to the Govt. and food like baked items, cold drinks, ice cream, etc, we have to pay 1% to the Govt and the rest restaurant will have to pay the Govt. (This option is not possible in foodomaa, we have to do the calculation by our self)
Restaurant will not charge any GST on food from the customer.
I am also attaching the GST compliance details of other aggregators:
