I can see the flow of orders and I understand how difficult it can be to do the changes fast while keeping the app stable. So, to the best of my knowledge, here are a few suggestions I'd like to give you which could create a win-win situation for everyone:
- Let store owners select the store after the login process (like in Facebook messenger - multi-account login).
- Instead of adding "Food is Ready" in the order flow, give a button with the label "Food is Ready" which could trigger an infinite ringer to the delivery app with the label "Food is ready" on the order. (Keeping this button pressing optional for store owner (means not mandatory to do it). Even on Zomato, store owners don't use it mostly)
- Let multiple logins possible on different phones with the same username password but different store selected. (This could be a big deal to make it happen, so, take your time.)
What I think should not be a priority at the moment:
I don't see a need for the admin to enter into the store app as everything is controllable through the admin dashboard. Also, I don't see the need to approve any changes like wrong prices and photos but there should be logging of all changes made by the store owner through the app, still not a huge issue.
The store app's layout and functionings are amazing as of now if everything is stable and working properly. I believe you should have an initial built published and changes can be made on the way as we understand the real-world usage after the store owners provide their feedback.
Lemme know what you think.
