Although I am aware that not every business model cant be catered but MAYBE there are lots of clients here who is operating the same as me and @Saurabh might consider adding this.
For small business owners like me, its not easy to get the approval of big brands to hold their sales and pay them out even at the end of the day. They wont let me do it and maybe same with others. WHAT THEY WANT is you pay for the order instantly when the rider picked up the order.
Our payment flow is like this for Cash on Delivery:
Customer Place an order on app (COD)
Store will accept the order and prepare it
The Rider will go to store and pay for the order using his/her own money. Note: He will only pay the actual menu price not the marked up price.
Rider takes the payment from customer.
At the end of the the Rider now has a.) Own money he used to store 2.) 100% of Delivery fee and 3.) The Store Commission which is ours.
With this system, Store wont have a problem with every transaction, every order is already cleaned on the spot.
Now on Rider's Cash on Hand, since they are sending the receipt to us, we will deduct those to their COD on hand. and the remaining - they will remit it to office/online.
So what our stores wanted to see is the report of their Sales and other metrics like estimated actual sales (based on % commission that admin have set), filtered by custom period of time etc.,and ofcourse, no Request for Payout Button,.
