JusanSG Let me know your CodeCanyon username so that I can get your domain name and check the issue quickly.
Saurabh yes my CodeCanyon username: jusansg. Please help me. Thank you.
JusanSG Quickly make these changes on your .env file: APP_ENV=local APP_DEBUG=true
Let me know after this is done.
Saurabh Okay looks like the patch will only work for 3.5.
I will rewrite the post.
Saurabh the error:
Saurabh thanks. I am waiting for your new update.
Saurabh So you will announce in another new post or do I have to download the old link (in old post) again?
JusanSG https://discuss.foodomaa.com/d/3100-critical-security-issue-on-foodomaa-update-now Link updated in an older post. You can download that now.
(Any version will automatically be updated to 3.5.0)
For example, if you are on 3.2, it will be updated to 3.5 with the patch auto included in the package.
Saurabh Please clarify: I can still run my version 3.2 safely and smoothly? (because my server don't serve version 3.5, so I won't update my Foodomaa to 3.5)
JusanSG No. When you upload the patch, Foodomaa will be updated to 3.5.
Why your server doesn't work with 3.5? What's the issue? Just curious as every other hosting and domain are working fine with 3.5 (about 300+)
I mean, I am running 3.2, and after updating this, it will be still 3.2? Or my foodomaa version will be 3.5? (and my server won't serve)
Saurabh The last time I tried update to 3.5, it forced with saying "need php 7.3.x to do blah blah...", so I tried to change from 7.4 to 7.3, then I ran mysite/public and it showed error (500 error or something I don't know, it didn't tell any error detail)
Saurabh And if it is moved to 3.5 (from 3.2), how's about the database? Will this also update the database?
Should I try to update to v3.5 again (I have file 3.5 from codecanyon) and then install this patch? I will do this, so if there's some error I will ask for help?
JusanSG directly update with the provided patch.
Saurabh Please help me, I just extracted this and run /public, I changed from php 7.4 to 7.3 as the screen required and rand /public again, it show 500 error (as I said above).
Can you help me check what caused this please?
@Saurabh I tried to change .env as you said above to show error like this:
JusanSG revert back your old env settings.
Your db username, password might be incorrect on your env file. please check that.
Saurabh You mean: use the old .env (of version 3.2)?
Saurabh I just checked again, all information in .env file is still CORRECT (as what I've seen in 3.2, the 3.5 is the same).
Please help me! Thanks.
