It will be very difficult to do business if you have fear like that. You cannot grow your business unless you have a big team and good funding to manage the tech resources. If you have cracked that, I would suggest you to build your own system and do the business. That's the best option.
Just for information for everyone, let me do a basic cost breakdown if you want to go your own way:
(Assuming you are based in India)
Assuming you generate 8 Lakhs in revenue every month. (A good average Foodomaa customer)
Let's say you buy the extended license (full source) of Foodomaa or any other similar platform.
INR 42000
Server cost per month can be as low as INR 1000
Cost of hiring 1 full stack developer could be 70K to 1L depending on the experience. OR if you hier 1 backend and 1 frontend developer, your cost would be around the same. (It's very difficult to get a good experienced ReactJs developer who has good UX experience as well - most of them know just to code - so you might need a good UI/UX guy - 30-40k more)
So your tech team cost becomes close to 1.5L per month.
Android app developers are more costly, and the type of issues you will start to face when you scale your business are really massive. Let's say you get a beginner android developer and start training them with Foodomaa Architecture. 30K
Complexities and trouble has no account, it's a nightmare to manage such big platform. (So i really can't put a price on that, feel free to think how much you will be suffering on tech rather than focusing on the business)
So the total cost of running your own business for 1 month will be : 42000 + 1000 + 150000 +30000 = ### 223000
And from next month, 181000
