Offline payments and payments links

@Saurabh Please consider implementing card, QR payments on delivery and payment links.
For the payment links option, the payment should be confirmed manually by the admin. Until the status is confirmed, it should be awaiting payment.
For my business this is urgent, in the Argentine province where we started operating some virtual wallets do not have online payments but they offer discounts of up to 45% for payments with QR or payment links:

Carlos no new features in development for next 15 days as we are working on the Pickup and Drop feature.

Also, we have already implemented a lot of stuff just for your business, no prioritisation of features can be done for your business.

Looks like you want to take payments from the customer outside of the platform and manually change the status of the order from
Awaiting Payment to Order Placed (New Order)

Question: how will you collect payment from the customer? This is not something Foodomaa will handle, am I correct? So, it's all upto you how you collect the payment?

Please clarify if I am getting it wrong.

Saurabh Pick & Drop is a great feature. I do not expect priorities as I understand that each user has their own needs so I asked you to consider it. The solutions I have received were extremely necessary and almost all related to the language of my country.

It is exactly as you understand it, payments will be collected manually through card machines or payment links and wire transfers outside Foodomaa.
In the case of card machines it is not necessary to change the status of the order from Awaiting Payment to Order Placed (New Order), it will must work like COD.
However, for wire transfers and payment links, it is very necessary since we must confirm the payment before the store receives the order and begins to prepare it.
If in the store settings "Disable COD when order total is greater than" is enabled, then in the case of payment method with card machines on delivery it must be disabled together with COD.
In the case of the payment link and and wire transfers (awaiting payment and all that), it should not be disabled since, although the payment is made manually, it is anticipated just like any online payment gateway.
In any cases, payments are managed manually outside of the Foodomaa platform and no delivery cash collection log for the Delivery guy needs to be maintained for those particular orders.
I hope it can be easily implemented.

Carlos it's like Amazon , pay on delivery..
Example
I place a order from Amazon as COD but when my order is arrived i usually pay with gpay , QR Scanner, So i don't need to pay cash.
When customer place an order then when items is arrived, then customer have option to pay with cash or online..by manually whenever they done online payment in foodomaa should have option for to changing cod or online payment.

MrCam you are taking about Card On Delivery (remember that's after the order is delivered to the customer)

But Carlos is talking about taking payment from the customer offline (through any offline payment method like bank transfer, QR, Money transfer etc) and then process the order - here the order is already paid by customer, so the delivery guy doesn't collect the cash or anything.

Saurabh I don't know anything about programming so I don't understand if implementing these features is something simple or complex.
I do not expect any priority but if it could be done it would be a really good solution to be able to accept this type of payment that we cannot accept today.

Hey i have one suggestion also.
If customer trying to pay online if they click back and going at 'my order' it's showing online awaiting payment only if there is option to pay now button, it's easy for customer to pay online again because sometimes customer click exit from razorpay or an click mistakely...

Carlos This is how the flow will be for the required thing:

We will create a new payment gateway called Offline Payments (You can translate this to anything)
This needs to be enabled by the admin from Settings > All Settings > Payment Gateways
When a customer clicks on Offline Payments during checkout the order will be placed in a single click.
The customer will be redirected to the Order Tracking page with the "Awaiting Payment" status.
Along with the Awaiting Payment status on the Order Tracking page, there will be a section where Admin can insert a Custom HTML block from the Admin dashboard (Information regarding how to pay, and the steps - all up to Admin's Business)
After the Admin gets the payment confirmation (offline through any means), from the Dashboard, Admin will click a button "Approve Payment" and the order will be changed from "Awaiting Payment" to "Order Placed/New Order"

All other process flows will remain the same after this.

Saurabh Perfect, the idea is 100% well interpreted.
Only that the most optimal thing would be to have at least 4 gateway called Offline Payments in such a way that, for example, one can be used for bank transfers, the other 3 can be used to determine which payment service will be used when sending the link. It is not essential considering that there will be a section to place custom HTML but it would be more practical.
If it could be implemented this way, would it be possible to use custom logos for each gateway?

Saurabh Sorry for the insistence but, as I told you many times, our business works and leaves us a good profit during the vacation season, three months in summer and two in winter.
The summer season begins on December 15 and we desperately need this gateway.

Carlos It will not be practical for our product to have more than one Offline Payment Gateway.
So, we can create only one.

But as you change the name of the Gateway shown in the Customer App, you could write:
Title: Offline Payments
Subtitle: Pay with QR, Bank Transfer, or WhatsApp after placing the order.

And then include the steps for all these methods in the single Custom HTML block.
