Question: Live Order Tracking

I hope everyone fine and doing well. I have one confusion in foodomaa, it's live order tracking is the same as food panda or other order tracking app. Can someone share live order tracking video?

@Saurabh recently we're facing some issue like LIVE TRAKCING from customer end not working, the rider icon still keeping the same restaurant place not moved properly as like live navigation, getting many compliant about this.

This screenshot was taken from customer mobile (From Tiruchendur to Nazareth 29KM), was not moved rider icon from Tiruchendur restaurant. Note: Rider has activated google map, since with help of google navigation only he delivered this order.

alabtechnosoft the browser can't run in the background, meaning it doesn't represent GPS data. In order for the browser tab from the courier's cabinet to work as it should, it should always be active

knurillaev I agreed, But RIDER WAS OPENED THE GPS TO GET THE CUSTOMER LOCATION FROM THE RIDER APP FOR THE WHOLE 29km, MEANS IT'S IN FOREGROUND ONLY NOT BACKGROUND.

NikhilJain brother i totally understand and i know this, also i was the person who delivered this order in absent of rider. I was opened the GPS location from the rider app only so rider app is opened and running in background and with help of google map only i delivered this order hence google map was opened as foreground.

alabtechnosoft when you say Google Maps is open in the foreground, then how can the delivery app also be on the foreground??

If you open Google maps, that means the Delivery app goes to the background process and hence the GPS data cannot be obtained from the browser.

May be you could start Google navigation and minimise it in PIP mode (picture in picture) and then make the delivery application always open.
Only then it "might" be possible to use both.

Saurabh Now i understood, but i think this feature is not useful as we expected since if i do PIP mode, map is not fully visible properly so no use, however i understand that we have some limitation on webview, lets wait for native... 🙂
