How to delete saved addresses of all customers? (to force declare new address)

Hi all, I really need your help.
Thousands of my customers have the wrong addresses (wrong location on the map) because they clicked on popular location and then they just inserted their addresses (they didn't care about the pin on the map).

I have tried to solve this problem by turning off poplular location. But thousands of them still have "saved addresses" which were wrong in the past. Everyday when receving orders from them, I have to cancel and I have to call them to instruct how to make new order with new and exact address. This made them quit.

CAN ANY ONE PLEASE HELP ME: HOW TO DELETE ALL SAVED ADDRESSES OF ALL CUSTOMERS, SO THAT IN THE NEXT ORDER, THEY WILL CREATE NEW ADDRESS?

Do you have any solution on how to remove all address, every address that are saved. I want to remove all address and they want to select as fresh. Any solution on how to do that?
It's really urgent. My problem is same as yours @JusanSG

Delete all locations from database after delete app forces user to select location again, This might help the situation, I did the same with no issue, years ago....

it doesn't affect anything just delete address record from app

JusanSG Deleting only addresses table will cause issues.

You need to perform the following commands:

TRUNCATE TABLE addresses;
UPDATE users SET default_address_id="0" WHERE 1;

Sorry but I try to find table "users" but there's no table with that name. Do I miss something?

@Saurabh In case I just want to delete some saved addresses of each users (Yes, NOT DELETE ALL SAVED ADDRESSES FOR EACH USER, JUST DELETE 1 OR 2 ADDRESSES FOR EACH USER, AND FOR SOME ANOTHER USERS, I WILL DELETE ALL THEIR SAVED ADDRESSES), so do I need to perform the following commands:

UPDATE users SET default_address_id="0" WHERE 1;

this command "TRUNCATE TABLE addresses;" will drop all the rows from address table. If you want to delete some address you need to run different query specific for that particular user.

JusanSG Not quite sure if this can be done on the MySql level. (I am not an expert in MySql queries, an expert could do this on MySql level as well)

This can surely be done with some PHP code on the backend.

You could do this:

Goto AdminController.php file present in /app/Http/Controllers
Goto the first public function dashboard()

Add the following to the dashboard method:

$users = User::get()->pluck('default_address_id');
DB::table('addresses')->whereNotIn('id', $users)->delete();
dd('done');

Save the file and go to your Admin Dashboard. You should get the "Done" message.
Go back to the AdminController.php file and remove the newly added 3 lines of code. Save the file.

NOTE: this will leave the default address of each user and delete other addresses.
Example: If Saurabh has 5 addresses, of course only one is the default one, the other 4 will be deleted.

Thank you. So, in this case, we don't need to run "TRUNCATE TABLE addresses;" but we still run "UPDATE users SET default_address_id="0" WHERE 1;" ??

JusanSG In that case after deleting address of a certain user you need to make the default address of that particular user to 0
