Bug in disance calculation: ALWAYS CALCULATED BY CAR DRIVING!!!???

Hi all,
Check now: many times, the delivery charge is calculated based on CAR DRIVING, not by MOTORBIKE DRIVING. It makes the distance much more far away than MOTORBIKE DRIVING, so the delivery charge becomes too high for a very short distance. And customers never come back to use app again.

Do you see this problem?

JusanSG Google Matrix API doesn't supports bike distance.

@JusanSG shouldn't be the distance is still same ? what is your business case ? so far it accurate for us.

Dwijadas the bike distance could be shorter. If there is a route that is too narrow for Car but a bike can travel then Google Maps shows that route for the bike but not for Car.

Unfortunately Google Distance API doesn't support it, may be in the future they will.

this issus can solve with different delivery type like motorcycle, bike, E-bike, if foodomaa develop this future customer(user) can choose the delivery type. Then the admin can give different delivery price for each different delivery type. Is that possible?

@BirukNegussie different vehicle different pricing would need significant code change. this may be more meaningful when you manage the delivery fleet also.
