Can anyone tell me, what is the SaaS version? I mean what will be the different from this version.::

NikhilJain Is very risky, you not have any control on the software and company that provide service. And server that is provided you not have any control. If the server is in USA and your clients on another country, they will be very slow.... and may other things. If server company bankruptcy you lose all your clients and you bankruptcy with them. Also you can not upgrade your script as you needs/ want.

bobgva If you think that way, you should not use any 3rd party services like Twilio, MSG91, SendGrid, and even Google Maps.

And using the current Foodomaa is as risky as using cloud Foodomaa, what it we close Foodomaa today, whats your backup plan?

This kind of logic cuts both ways!!!

@Saurabh will cloud SAAS foodomaa usng same tech framework like laravel? and will u consider using latest laravel 8.0? thanks

surya90 we will be using Laravel but many changes to the Laravel core too.

There is no point in updating to 8.0 as we have 30+ 3rd party Laravel packages on Foodomaa and all won't support v8.0.

The server will run on Apache and Nginx with PHP 7.4.
Static files will be served with CDN.

Saas customers will not have to worry a single thing about the server or any packages/extensions/upgrades/versions etc.
Everything will be managed by us.

one more, incase for this cloud, i have integrated local payment gateway which working for us so far at current version, how is the arrangement if using cloud? you need us to share the code or how as we need local payment gateway in cloud/saas too?

surya90 after we are done will all the development of our own, you can contribute your customized code to be integrated on the cloud version. (We will let you know when to share, a long way to go)

It cannot be possible, I am sure that just like me, there are many other users who bought your script with a lot of effort, and it is not possible that just because you already have other projects leave the current one in oblivion, personally I do not think it is feasible to pay money every month for something that in the end will not be mine at all ... Please don't switch down the current one...

Clearly, you do not understand how this kind of services works.

Let me give you an example:

For Foodomaa you use Google Maps API, right?
So you pay to Google, right?
Do you ask Google to give all the data to you to store on your server and do you manage the data? Can you manage the infrastructure and the complexity? Obviously NO.
You are using its service to run your business.
Same like this, you will have Foodomaa as a service, you will use the platform to run your business.

Okay, Google is a big company, let's take a small company example, your local SMS gateway.
If you want an SMS integration on any application, do you build your own SMS gateway company? OR do you buy a package from a 3rd party?
Getting my point?
