How to continue an Awaiting Payment without admin's participation?

I have that error to, if payment complete and loading IF you are fast enough and refresh page fast it will duplicate the order. I'm looking to fix this bug.

Look into the file: src\services\checkout\actions.js

After the order is placed, the success=>true is validated and then the cart is cleared.
So inside the if (checkout.success) you can check the order status and process the data according to your business needs.

Saurabh Thanks for your reply, rather than change the action.js, Is safe to call the __placeOrder when the Payment Gate API returns the query string? if so can I use the route+controller to handle the query parameter then call the __placeOrder at the last stage and what is the better way to implement it?

sir @Saurabh how is awaiting payment appear? i mean how it working? as my own gateway integration also, have this status on 2.9.1

surya90 In Gateways like Paytm, PayMongo, etc where the order is first placed and then the user is redirected to a 3rd party website to complete the payment, during the payment process, the status is Awaiting Payment after the user has completed the payment successfully, the status is changed to New Order (Order Placed)

surya90 it's not time based, as soon as the customer completes the payment, the order status will change. (This is for the payment gateways integrated on Foodomaa, if you have a custom gateway, you will need to build this function - take a look at processPaytm function on PaymentController)

i found this issue, my operator accidentally click manually accept 'awaiting payment to accept, which i believe on that time customer is opening his 3rd patyy bank to pay,

so, i found this issue when assigning rider

sir, i have case when integrate local payment gateway, got user said, he paid, but order was not found

but actually, not happen to all, like this is rare case as others is ok when choosing that gateway

any idea what to check or something else u think from that user side?

case 1 (to cancel)
-as found some awaiting payment keep loading like more than 30 minutes, as i believed customer must be out of apps

can we change to cancel? any effect on duplicate order issue?

some customer said money already deduct, but still awaiting payment can we change to accept that order?

surya90 if customer says already deducted, then there is a option in Admin to approve payment for the order.

Saurabh understand, quite weird on stripe case too, have some reported issue customer said "already successuly paid (with showing receipt and we also checked/verified with our bank account)" , but still showing 'Awaiting Payment'

and when ask, customer confidently said he wait/click return to merchant after paid but still showing 'awaiting payment'

any idea what's happening and how to counter this?

surya90 webhook needs to be implemented and setup. If you have any developer, ask them to look into that.

@Saurabh @[deleted] dear both, recently we're getting many order cancelled bez of Razorpay awaiting payment status, even we have enabled WEBHOOK as per the foodomaa documentation.

Even after 5 mints, order status was not turned onto payment failed. i don't know what could be the reason and please let us know how to solve this please.

alabtechnosoft have you already setup cronjob?

If you have, then in 5-7mins the cronjob should definitely change the status from Awaiting Payment to Payment failed.

Saurabh cron job already done also automatic store schedule also enabled. Till 2.9.2 after payment successful then only order will be placed on admin dashboard, can we keep the same since we could see many order status Awaiting payment or payment faild on admin dashboard it's not looks good from management side.

alabtechnosoft only after payment done and order placed was the incorrect thing that we were doing. That's not how it should have been done.
We have made razorpay more secure and powerful with this.
(That's how all major platform works - also recommend method by Razorpay themselves)

Please check your cronjob password. It should have run properly.

Also check your application timezone in Admin > Settings > General
