Hi everyone,
I really like to compare Foodomaa to Apple. Because it's easy to use, the code is complex but at the same time light and fast, the three applications work perfectly together!
I tried other scripts and I was totally lost. Not because I didn't understand, but because there were too many options all over the screen that gave me a headache lol.
What I mean is that the best improvement you can make is to keep it simple in your next SaaS version 😉
I'll give you some personal improvements based on what already exists on Foodomaa
1. Custom home message for the delivery application.
Sometimes we need to communicate a quick information with the deliverers and there is no other way than by email or phone
2. Ask for payment for the drivers
Restaurants can ask for payment so why not also the deliverymen? It would help the admin to know who wants to be paid
3. Assign delivery people to an area (for example with DeliveryAreaPro)
When you add a new store in the application and you have 100 delivery people to assign to that store, you have to do it one by one and it is very time consuming.
We should be able to assign deliverers to an area, then when we add that area to the new restaurant, the deliverers be assigned automatically.
4. The new order pop-up everywhere
When the store owner browses the dashboard, he will not get a pop-up for a new order if he is not on the main page or in the zen mode.
Visually this is great and with me it has always worked 100% for sound alerts.
5. Full Ajax Dashboard
For a better tracking of live orders
6. Coupon for the administrator
So that we can use our marketing budget without impacting the stores' money
7. Create your own offline payment system
The admin could create basic payment system like payment with card machine etc.
Or have COD1, COD2, COD3 and then the admin activate and rename them whenever he wants.
These payment modes would have the same carecteristics as COD except that there will be no delivery collections (or optional).
8. Force users to choose a schedule (OrderSchedule)
If the module is enabled, then the store owner should be able to choose whether he wants customers to be able to place an order with or without a schedule.
If the scheduled option is enabled, the user will not be able to go to the payment page until they select a delivery time.
9. Choose to display in 12 hours or 24 hours
That's it. These are not major changes but I thought it was good to talk about them here 🙂
