i just found a WhatsApp api which is free and it’s sending OTP from my installation without any issues.

For Whatsapp OTP and orders notifications I am using VisiMisi mod. and gateway (WaZone) from @Arrocy . I recommend them 100%. They work perfectly and have an excellent and fast technical support. Take a look at visimisi.net

WhatsApp integration will be coming in the new platform after the initial release.

We have woked on the prototype and it was working well.

Only thing is as it's not based on the Official WhatsApp API, there are chances that the account can get ban. (Same for WaZone)

Carlos No you cannot use WaZone.
We have built our own system in an optimized way so that it doesn't affect any performance. 3rd party modules cannot be used in the new platform (as the code is on our server and the code works for all the domains, we cannot let any 3rd party apps run) - This can be achieved when we release our Plugins API for the world (in the future we have plans to do that, but not in the initial release of the new Foodomaa Platform)

Saurabh Thanks so much for the explanation. However, I don't quite understand what the point is. WaZone is a gateway that operates in a similar way to Twilio or MSG91 that sends whatsapp messages instead of sms. Why not prepare the code of the SaaS platform so that it can connect with WaZone? I understand that the module that directly affects the code cannot be used, but why not the gateway?
By the way, all the API Plugins that you plan to develop will be paid or will be within the cost of the platform, which is not clear either?

WaZone uses your server to make API calls and it is very slow and resource consuming, not optimized to make such calls.
Hence we cannot let this module run on our server and consume our resources.
To use WaZone, you need to purchase the script and deploy it on your server (so the cost of script + cost of additional server + maintenance/updates-management)
The whole point of the new platform is to remove the tech complexity so that users can fully concentrate on the business side of things.

With Foodomaa providing in-built WhatsApp integration, you will not have to purchase anything additional and do not have to maintain any separate server, and do not have to worry about updates. Charges for WhatsApp integration will be minimal (close to $4 to $5/m - we have not finalized the pricing yet)

for those who will be using Foodomaa SaaS version, @Saurabh will accommodate the Whatsapp notifications with extra monthly charge off course, but I think will be minimal addition to the main monthly fee.
But for those who are still self-hosting Foodomaa, still can use Wazone like before.
