Yesterday I was clear about this, but now again it seems confusing.

Check Scenario C: Bears Admin 40% | Store 60%

See the item is Rs. 1000
The coupon Cost is Rs. 100 (Rs. 40 beared by Admin and Rs. 60 beared by Store)
So the store is expecting just to bear Rs. 60 to acquire the customer + Commission to Admin (15%)
So, 1000 - 60 = 940
Then, 940 - 15% of 940 = 799

This 799 should be the payout for the Restaurant.
Whatever percentage admin bears, that's all up to them, but Admin should always account the subtotal to calculate the Commission and Coupon bear by Store.

Admin Commission = 15% of (1000 - 60) = 141
Admin Earnings = Admin Commission - Admin Coupon Cost = 141 - 40 = 101

Saurabh Yes this seems correct and more fair for the store.

The commission issue is not solved yet.

Another suggestion is that, in the dashboard now the profit gained is calculated as the sum of Commission Earnings without coupon amount reductions. It will be better to sum the Total earnings after coupon discounts

aswin379 commission thing development is done and is currently undergoing testing on our staging server.

As soon as we get go-ahead from the testing team we will push the code to production.

How to stop zero pricing for customised products
The customer places an order for the product at zero price; we have set the item attribute price, but the main price is set to zero.

getmytrend I do it like this, I put the price of the lowest customization as the item price and in the description I put "from $X"
So in your case it would be like this:
Price: 209
Item description: "From 209 (small)"
Customizations:
Small: 0
Medium: 150
Large: 290

Carlos This is confusing for our customers when we tried this when we first launched.

What we did is to put 0 in main item then in description "Starts @ 209"

Then put a variant of single select for sizes so they will be forced to pick one.

Small: 209
Mediaum 359
Large: 499

getmytrend the reason you are seeing 0 there is because your customization (small,medium,large) is supposed to be single select than multiple select.

You need to make your item customisation as Single Selectable so that atleast one will be selected.

Ofcourse this cannot be done if the item has One customisation and the customisation is Multi Selection.
If the item has one Customisation and the Customisation is Single Selection (we can just take the first selection and show that as the price)
What if the item has multiple Single Selections available on the item? Will we need to sum the default selection? Right?

Like so:
Crust Type:
FRESH PAN - 20 (default)
HAND TOASTED - 50

Size:
MEDIUM - 200 (default)
LARGE - 300

So for this, the item price should show 220 right?
